Kate and Ryan have been together for quite a while.
Spending time away from each other while Kate teaches elementary school here in Austin and Ryan alternated semesters of college with internships for NASA.
They finally made it to the same city and then living together, now they’re married and blissful.

Their wedding was so joyous, we were thrilled to be there.
Thank you for working so hard to choose us.

My approach for weddings is as a photojournalist, an active witness, a documentary photographer. There are times during a wedding that I draw on my experience from fashion and portraiture, but I prefer keeping the choreography and orchestration to a minimum. The reason is because I (and the couples I’ve shot for) think those found moments captured in an insightful and thoughful way are the highest, purest, and most memorable form of documenting your day.
