I look at wedding photos all day long (yes, I have an amazing job). Everything wedding related makes me feel giddy, excited and all warm and fuzzy inside. But, every once in a while, I come across photos that totally send me over the edge. Photos that make me smile from ear to ear, laugh out loud or cry until I have to walk away from the computer (it’s a good thing I work from home).


These photos of Claudia & Matthew totally had that ‘oh my’ effect on me. And, sorry Matthew, it was totally because of Claudia. Her smile is insanely contagious! As I was putting these photos from Danny at Daniel C Photography together, I realized I had this crazy smile on my face the whole time. You can just tell how completely thrilled Claudia was on her wedding day! Adorable. I want to be her friend.

Claudia incorporated peacock feathers into the boutonnieres and the centerpieces. But, what makes her use of this popular wedding detail special is the way she incorporated the blue and green from the feathers into other aspects of the wedding. You can see this with the table runners. Also, the bridesmaids wore blue dresses and carried green bouquets.

That ceremony photo is such a classic. It’s definitely one Claudia & Matthew will cherish for years to come.

This is what I’m talking about. You can’t help but smile when you look at these photos of Claudia. You’re smiling, aren’t you?

Claudia and Matthew married November 14, 2009. They had their ceremony at St. Albert the Great Church and their reception was at Villa Antonia.
From the gorgeous church to the beautiful reception grounds – from the amazingly photogenic wedding party to all of the colorful details, this was such a fun wedding to shoot.
The vendors were Bouquets of Austin, Cakes by Kathy, River City Soul, and Vintage Rides of Austin provided the ‘Godfather.’
I just loved the attention to detail that Claudia’s mom provided with all of the decorations…the peacock feathers, the candy table, and all of the sparkly things. And in case you were curious, that’s Claudia’s brother providing the laughs in his boxers, with his Risky Business rendition. So. Much. Fun!!
