So you only have a limited amount of time to plan your dream wedding? Don’t worry, it can be done!
Save the Date
Be open to having a Friday or Sunday ceremony instead of the traditional Saturday celebration. Caterers, photographers, and florists are more likely to be available on either of these days at such short notice. You’ll also find it easier to find a venue that isn’t already booked.
Location, Location, Location
Explore the vast options of places to have your wedding. Be creative and branch out from the norm! Look into booking a park, hotel, restaurant, or a beach. Also, it is important to note that you shouldn’t pick a date until you find your venue. This broadens your choice of places and you may also be able to get a cheaper rate.
Communicate with Your Guests
Since your RSVP date will be closer to your actual wedding than most ceremonies, you need to make up for the smaller window of time. It may be time consuming, but be sure to call the guests who haven’t yet responded to ensure they aren’t attending. This will save a lot of uncertainty on your part.
Rely on Family and Friends
Don’t be afraid to ask others for help. They’ll be flattered you value their taste and opinion to make important decisions. Give each member of the wedding party a small task to spread out the work. They love you, and that’s what they’re here for!
Change of Seasons
You might have to come to terms with the fact that you won’t be able to have your dream summer wedding. Make the most of it! Play up the themes of the other seasons, such as a crimson red and pumpkin orange decor for the Fall or a Winter Wonderland for December. Realize that having it off-season will make it even more unique and memorable. And besides, you’re marrying the man of your dreams, does the season really matter?
As you can see, the time constraint can actually be a blessing in disguise, as it gives you an excuse to be creative and make the day even more unforgettable! Good luck on your last minute planning!
